Refund of rental bond (Form 4) START NOW Request or dispute a bond refund online. This form should be completed when the tenancy agreement has ended. The RTA cannot accept this form before the expiry date of the appropriate notice – Notice to leave (Form 12), Notice of intention to leave (Form 13) or Abandonment termination notice (Form 15). A full bond refund refunds the entire bond amount because the tenancy has ended. A rent reduction refunds part of the total existing bond amount held by the RTA because the weekly rent for the property is being reduced during the tenancy.
