It depends on where you come from, where in SA you will be visiting, and what you will do during your visit. I came from the USA and didn t need any new vaccinations because I was already up to date with what is required with in the USA. You dont need any vaccinations unless you are going on a safari in a malaria area.
Most game reserves advertise as malaria free if they are. In regards to water etc, it is perfectly okay.
This requirement applies only to travelers who are entering. Get travel vaccines and medicines because there is a risk of these diseases in the country you are visiting. Speak with a travel health specialist to learn more about whether you need antimalarials and what type is right for you.
Some yellow fever endemic countries will not permit entry if travelers have not received the vaccination. Visit the CDC’s webpage on Travel and COVID-19. Avoid walking alone, especially after dark. Avoid visiting informal settlement areas unless you are with someone familiar with the area.
Do not display cash or valuables.
